Order SelectorAs a Picker and Packer, you will be responsible for tagging items with stickers, checking boxes and products, and preparing them for shipping. You will use tools like tape and box cutters to open and seal boxes. Your duties will include utilizing pick tickets and order sheets to ensure accuracy, performing basic shipping and receiving tasks, and managing the movement and storage of products. You will also assemble customer orders from stock, stage them, and convey them to the appropriate packing station or shipping department.ResponsibilitiesTag items with stickers and ensure correct packaging for shipment.Utilize pick tickets and order sheets to maintain order accuracy.Perform basic shipping, receiving, unloading, and scanning tasks.Move, stage, load, locate, relocate, and stack products.Pull and prepare products for shipment, verifying the exact number and type of product.Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.Assemble and stage customer orders, preparing them for dispatch.Essential SkillsExperience in picking and packing items.Proficiency in tagging or ticketing items or products.Familiarity with RF Scanners.Experience in shipping and receiving tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in warehouse packing and production.Why Work Here?This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity for top performers, with benefits such as paid holidays, PTO, bonuses, potential yearly salary increases, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k options.Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a modern distribution center with an open bay, non-climate controlled facility. However, it is equipped with large industrial fans to help reduce heat and water stations are available throughout the facility.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
