Order Processing Specialist

Logistics CoordinatorResponsible for all logistical processing of retail customer orders including eCommerce; which includes coordination with customers, internal departments, warehouse, and arranges shipment of requested retail items.Hours Required: 40+Major ResponsibilitiesProcess various retail customers and eCommerce orders, while following each customers guidelinesSupport and maintain of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar dataRun/save/send reports on new purchase ordersCreate labels, packing slips & pull sheets for new purchase orders & email them to the appropriate warehouseUpdate pertinent fields in IQMS before orders shipSchedule trucks to pick-up loads shipping from required locationsRequest extensions for purchase orders when missed pickups occurCoordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customersProblem solve and resolve warehouse issues & mishaps including missed cartons on loads, wrong loads shipped, merchandise shortages, and missed orders, while informing appropriate persons of these instances to track charges & fees incurredInvestigate and provide documentation to disprove customer chargebacksEnter purchase orders into routing in a timely manner to avoid chargebacks for late shipmentsInform warehouses on new vendor shipping requirements along with any changes to present vendor routing & shipping guides. Update vendor guides as necessary & keep track of changes in Customer Guidelines folderPerform other related duties as required and assignedSkills RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience with Retail Portal websitesStrong communication skills - verbal and writtenAbility to multi-taskKnowledge of transportation and logisticsExperience with retail eCommerceProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and accuracy
