ORDER PICKER / QUALITY CONTROL (QC) ASSOCIATE

Connect Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Order Picker / Quality Control (QC) Associate for an established global logistics and distribution operation in North Houston.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable warehouse professional who has hands-on experience picking orders, verifying product accuracy, inspecting outgoing shipments, and maintaining quality standards in a busy warehouse environment.

This is NOT an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has previous experience in both warehouse order picking and quality control and understands the importance of accuracy, productivity, safety, and meeting shipping deadlines.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in getting orders right the first time and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable company.

• Accurately pick, pull, and prepare customer orders using pick tickets and warehouse documentation.

• Perform quality control (QC) inspections to ensure outgoing orders meet customer and company standards.

• Verify product numbers, quantities, descriptions, labels, and packaging before shipment.

• Identify and report damaged, incorrect, missing, or mislabeled products.

• Assist with inventory verification, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate warehouse records.

• Use RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems when applicable.

• Support shipping and receiving operations, including staging and preparing orders for dispatch.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse work area.

• Communicate discrepancies promptly to supervisors and warehouse personnel.

• Follow established warehouse procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Candidates MUST meet the following requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED - Must be able to communicate effectively in both languages.

• Previous warehouse order picking experience REQUIRED.

• Hands-on Quality Control (QC) inspection experience REQUIRED , preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.

• Experience verifying SKUs, part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipment accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies.

• Familiarity with RF scanners, pick tickets, packing lists, or inventory systems preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working in an active, non-climate-controlled warehouse with seasonal heat and cold.

• Able to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and handling materials throughout the shift.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

• Must reside within approximately 15-20 miles of Houston, TX 77066 .

• Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to follow instructions.

• Must successfully complete a background check. No violent or theft-related offenses, per client requirements.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must provide acceptable employment eligibility verification documents.
