Order Fulfillment SpecialistIf you like staying active, working with your hands, and making sure things are done right, this could be a great fit!The Order Fulfillment Specialist has a critical role - getting customer orders ready to ship by picking parts, collecting manufactured products, checking orders for accuracy & quality, and packaging them for shipment.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesPick parts from inventory for customer ordersCollect completed products from production areasCheck parts, quantities, labels, and product qualityMaintain organization of orders and paperwork in the order staging areaPackage orders safely and efficiently, including boxes and palletsSafely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipmentSafety operate packaging machinery, such as pallet wrapper, bander, scale and labelersHelp load and unload trucksKeep work areas, supplies, and inventory organizedHelp with inventory and other departmental activities as neededWork closely with team members in Shipping, Receiving, and Production to ensure customer orders ship on timeRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent educationAt least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentPrevious forklift experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to follow work instructions and recognize when something doesn't look rightComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentEffective verbal and written communication skills for working with team members, freight carriers, and other internal departmentsAble to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and carry them for up to 10 feetAble to stand, sit, bend, reach, and move about the facilityFlexibility to accommodate changing tasks and priorities
