Order Fulfillment SpecialistORAFOL Americas Inc - Ellabell, GA 31308OverviewSalary Range $20.00 - $20.00 Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Shift Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Category ManufacturingDescriptionThe Order Fulfillment Specialist is experienced in all areas of the warehouse to include, but not limited to, inventory control, pulling customer orders, shipping and receiving and operating non-motorized and motorized equipment.Essential Functions:Quickly & accurately pull customer orders using first in first out (FIFO) methodReceive, off-load and breakdown incoming shipmentsCount and reconcile incoming shipments against vendor packing slipsEnsure date coding on incoming productTransport finished goods from Converting area to the WarehouseSafely and quickly package customer orders within a 99.9% accuracy rateDistribute product to warehouse bins in compliance with first in first out (FIFO) rotational proceduresReposition bulk and overflow skids per FIFO procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiencyLoad and unload trucksStage order for shipmentAccurately document customer ordersShip orders using UPS or FedEx shipping systemRestock shelves as well as organize how and where product is storedAssist with inventory control and annual inventory processOperate equipment in a safe and responsible manner ensuring the safety of self and team membersAdditional Responsibilities:Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace;Participate in performance improvement programs, data collection, and meetings as directed;Follows prescribed safety regulationsMaintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOL's Quality ProgramPerform other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsEducation Experience:High School Diploma required;Basic math skills and computer data entry required;Good verbal and written communication skills required.Work Experience:At least one year of related warehouse/shipping experienceForklift certification preferred: ability to be certified within 90 days of start date.Physical Requirements:Must be able to life and move objects a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position such as standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling and occasionally kneeling.Aptitudes & Characteristics:Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills.Must be able to consistently meet and maintain skid counts.Ability to follow instructions, work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to adapt to job duties and department changes.Ability to work with little to no supervision.Must be a fast learner, self-motivated and driven; strives towards continuous improvement.Must have a positive "can do" attitude and a sense of accountability and be a team player.
