Oral Surgeon

The Staff Pad is seeking a Part-Time Oral Surgeon to join a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization in Louisville, KY. This role offers the opportunity to provide oral surgical care, specializing in restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative ASC environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Practice Info

• Practice in a pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment
• Specializes in restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members

Responsibilities

• Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members

Shift & Schedule

• Part-Time (1-2 Days per week)
• No Call, Weekends or Holidays

Requirements

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• National Board certification strongly preferred
• Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting
