Position Overview

We are seeking an Oral Surgeon to join Michigan Maxillofacial Surgery & Implant Center, a trusted provider of comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care in Lansing and St. Johns.

Operating Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in OMS.
  • Valid dental license with DEA registration in the applicable jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex extractions, wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgical procedures with a high standard of care, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic tools for precise surgical planning.
  • Diagnose and treat oral and maxillofacial conditions, provide sedation and anesthesia per state regulations, and educate patients on pre‑ and post‑operative care to ensure optimal outcomes and smooth recovery.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with general dentists and specialists, collaborate with referring doctors and team members, and enhance interdisciplinary care and the patient experience.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations while staying current with advancements in oral surgery through continuing education and professional development.
