The Staff Pad is seeking a Part-Time Oral Surgeon to join a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization in Jackson, MS. This role focuses on providing restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The position offers a collaborative ASC environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Practice Info
- Specializes in restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia
- Collaborative ASC environment
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
Responsibilities
- Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment
- Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
- Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
Shift & Schedule
- Part-Time (1-2 Days per week)
- No Call, Weekends or Holidays
Requirements
- Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- National Board certification strongly preferred
- Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
