The Staff Pad is seeking a PRN Oral Surgeon to join a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization in Fort Myers, FL. This role offers a flexible opportunity to provide specialized oral surgical care, focusing on restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The successful candidate will join a collaborative ASC environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Practice Info
- Practice in a fast-paced ASC environment
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
- Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
Responsibilities
- Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment
- Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
- Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
Shift & Schedule
- PRN
- No Call, Weekends or Holidays
Requirements
- Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- National Board certification strongly preferred
- Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
