The Staff Pad is seeking a Part-Time Oral Surgeon to join a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization in St. Louis, MO. This role involves performing restorative and exodontia dental procedures under general anesthesia for pediatric and special needs patients. Responsibilities
- Provide care in a fast-paced ASC environment
- Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, high-quality care for each patient
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
- Collaborate with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
Shift & Schedule
- Part-Time (1-2 Days per week)
- No Call, Weekends or Holidays
Requirements
- Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
- PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
- National Board certification strongly preferred
- Comfort practicing across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
