Job: Oracle Xstore Developer
Location: St. Louis, MO – day one onsite
Contract: W2
Requirements
- 7+ years of total experience (8-10 years preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Retail POS, Xstore development
- Extensive experience designing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE, Java Spring Boot, and SQL
- Deep understanding of Object‑oriented programming and SOLID principles
- Strong systems analysis, design, architecture fundamentals, unit testing, and other SDLC activities
- Experience developing and designing API integrations using SOAP, RESTful, JSON, XML
- Basics of Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience with code repositories and build tools such as SVN, GIT, MAVEN, GRADLE, JENKINS, GitLab, and Bugzilla
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, debugging, and communication skills; ability to adjust priorities quickly
Job Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis and solutions against established SLAs
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct log analysis
- Code and debug within defined timelines, adhering to expected coding standards
- Develop and test major and minor enhancements
- Maintain strong analytical and communication skills with business and stakeholders
