Oracle Solution ArchitectLocation: Irving TXDuration: 1 year contract to hireKey Responsibilities:Application Portfolio Rationalization: Analyze the existing Commercial & Logistics application landscape to identify redundancies, technical debt, and opportunities for simplification.Architecture Documentation & Modeling: Develop and maintain high-quality current-state and future-state architecture models and diagrams using LeanIX.Core Platform Strategy: Provide architectural guidance around Oracle e-Business Suite and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud, helping shape the evolution of core commercial platforms.Standards & Governance Alignment: Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards while identifying opportunities to evolve those standards to better support Commercial & Logistics needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate within a matrixed environment, partnering with Enterprise Architecture, IT delivery teams, and business leaders.Technology Governance & Transparency: Maintain LeanIX as a single source of truth for the application and technology landscape.Required Qualifications:Experience: 8+ years in IT or Solution Architecture, with domain experience in Commercial, Supply Chain, or Logistics environmentsOracle Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle eBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud (CX experience is a plus)Hybrid Architecture: Proven experience designing solutions across SaaS, PaaS, on-prem, and third-party platformsArchitecture Modeling: Strong skills in application, integration, and business process diagrammingStakeholder Influence: Ability to influence and align teams in a matrixed organization without direct authorityPreferred / Value-Add Experience:Integration Architecture: Familiarity with API-led and middleware-based integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud)Data & MDM: Understanding of Master Data concepts, especially Customer and Product domainsAgile & DevOps: Comfortable working within modern delivery models to ensure architecture accelerates—not blocks—deliveryProcess-to-Technology Translation: Ability to map physical logistics processes (e.g., order-to-ship, warehouse flows) into technical data flowsFinOps Awareness: Experience evaluating cloud cost efficiency as part of application and platform simplification efforts
