Location: Atlanta, GA – Onsite long term contract - W2/C2C.We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our client’s team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
This role requires hands-on database development experience, performance tuning skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integrations with Oracle databases.Support application development teams by writing efficient backend logic and database objects.Perform data analysis, validation, and ensure data integrity across systems.Create and maintain technical documentation including data models, design specifications, and database standards.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.Solid experience with performance tuning of PL/SQL and SQL queries.Experience with ETL development and data integration from multiple sources.Familiarity with database design, data modeling, and normalization concepts.Knowledge of Oracle tools (SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of cloud-based databases (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, etc.) is a plus.
