Oracle DBAWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Admin/Engineer who is ready to set up the Financial Crimes databases in the AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate has experience in architecting and designing greenfield database setup in the Cloud leveraging Cloud native services.Objectives Of This RoleWork in tandem with the engineering team, building highly available and scalable databases in the cloud using Cloud native solutionsManage database cloud environments, accesses and permissions in accordance with company security guidelinesEnsure application performance, uptime, and scaleResponsibilitiesArchitect and design the Cloud database solution, archival strategy, build and set upDevelop and implement database backup and recoveryMonitor database performance, conduct regular performance tuning, and optimize queries for maximum efficiencyPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as database backups, index rebuilding, and statistics gatheringDevelop and implement data security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect private/sensitive dataConduct database capacity planning to anticipate future storage and performance needImplement and maintain database monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issuesRequired Skills And QualificationsThree or more years of experience as a Database Administrator, building and running database using cloud native servicesStrong knowledge of DBMS such as Oracle and PostgresProficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performanceKnowledge of Cloud InfrastructureExperience with SAFe AgilePreferred Skills And QualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematicsAWS certification
