Oracle DBA Opportunity
Apex has an opportunity for an Oracle DBA for a client in a remote setting based out of the Northeast.
Position: Oracle DBA
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Month W2 Rolling Contract (Potential to Go Perm)
Responsibilities of the Role
- Assist the Exadata migration project from old to new oracle Exadata machine.
- Provide daily updates on the database migration tasks.
- Experience with day-to-day oracle tasks like performance tuning, patching, database health monitoring and backups using RMAN.
- Oracle data guard on oracle 11g/19c RAC environment.
- Oracle real application testing (RAT)
- Oracle database patching and performance tuning.
Must Haves:
• 2-3 years minimum Oracle DBA (migration)• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
