Oracle DBA – L3Essential Skills and Competencies:Minimum 7+ Yrs. relevant experience on Oracle 12c/18c/19c Database AdministrationCandidate should be able to quickly understand and resolve issues, mitigate risks and dependencies, and the ability to drive projects and resources to completionExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and documentation skills.Actively participate in service improvement plans.Should be able to drive the critical issues and effectively communicate over the calls.Monitoring the overall functioning of the process and identifying improvement areas.Should be ready to work as On-call as per the requirement.Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.Should have worked extensively on Production systemsShould have basic knowledge of Solaris / Linux / Veritas Cluster etc.Identify and Drive Automation Areas and service improvement efforts.Should be having good scripting knowledge.Required Technical Skills – PrimaryExtensive experience with Exadata Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades, and Patching.Manage database objects like Table space, users, Indexes, roles, privileges, profiles, DB links, and synonyms.Configuring and Administering the Oracle 12c, 18c and 19c.Proficient in logical backup and recovery using data pump, export/import.Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL.Should be good in performance tuning using (AWR, Explain the plan).Hands-on experience in Database CloningAutomatic Storage ManagementInitialization of ParametersShould have experience in Backup and Recovery Strategies planning using RMAN.Extensive experience in Database patching.Upgrade of Oracle Databases from 12c to 18c/19c.Flash Recovery Features & Flash back queryManaging Alerts and NotificationsShould have experience in partitioning of tables.Cross-platform transportable Tablespaces.Excellent Knowledge of implementation, configuration, and Data Guard / RAC (Real Application Clusters), including implementation, configuration, Administration, and troubleshooting issues.Experience working with the development team during design sessions to provide performance and scaling inputsExperience with troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store, including application server, network, storage, and operating system component/layer · Exadata feature enablement, monitoring, review, and update placement strategy · Working knowledge on Exadata and above platforms.
