We are seeking an Oracle Database Developer for a contract position (6+ months) based remotely in the United States. This is a hands-on role focused on enterprise-level Oracle database design, development, and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise software solutions using Oracle Database
- Perform advanced Oracle database development and performance tuning on Oracle RDBMS systems
- Implement and optimize advanced Oracle features including bulk collection
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and CI server infrastructure
- Collaborate using standard development tools including JIRA and Git
- Participate in software development lifecycle and Agile Scrum processes
Qualifications
- Required
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software design and development using Oracle
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with advanced Oracle features such as bulk collection
- Demonstrated proficiency in database development and performance tuning in Oracle RDBMS
- Deep understanding of advanced features in Oracle database development
- Experience with standard tools: JIRA and Git
- Experience with CI server configuration (Hudson, Jenkins, Bamboo, or CruiseControl)
- CI/CD implementation experience
- Preferred
- 5+ years of healthcare data expertise and healthcare domain knowledge
- Knowledge of functional programming
- Understanding of prevalent software development lifecycle methodologies with specific exposure to or participation in Agile Scrum techniques
