We provide excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision and a fun company to work!!We are seeking a senior level highly motivated candidate to take an ETL/Oracle Database developer position to work on a fast-paced team responsible for creating and maintaining high quality ETL processes to support a large data warehouse and a few dozen data marts, which are in an Oracle database. The person will be working on multiple development projects while providing support to existing processes in production.
Key responsibilities include:Working with users to collect requirementsCreating requirement, technical design and mapping documentsDeveloping, enhancing, testing, and maintaining Oracle SQL and PL/SQL codeInvolving users and SMEs in validating the data for accuracy/qualityWorking with source control and release processesProviding production support, working with users, investigating issues, identifying the root cause, finding solutions, and working with other members of the team to implement the solutionsOwning projects, proactively monitoring progress, taking accountability, and delivering in a timely mannerSkills required include a total of 6-10 years of IT development experience with:BS Computer Science6 or more years of SQL development6 or more years of Oracle PL/SQL development4 or more years of data modeling4 or more years of ETL development2 or more years of Unix/Windows shell scripting6 or more years of Oracle DB client tools like Toad, SQL Plus etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with end users to troubleshoot production issuesAbility to work independently or in a team environmentWillingness to learn new skills on the jobSkills desired include:Health care domain experienceExperience with Oracle configuration to add HS services, to be able to consume web services, to send emailsOther programming languages - T-SQL, Java, J2EE, Spring, Python, Django, Java Script, HTML and CSSJSON, XML experienceData visualization tools such as TableauBig data HDFS, Map/Reduce etc.Experience using machine learning algorithms
