Proficient in Oracle Database Administration, the full-time remote Database Administrator will manage database configurations, optimize performance, and automate tasks to support the company's applications. Key responsibilities Manage Oracle database configurations, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades on cloud platforms Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues while implementing recommendations for resolution Plan and execute regular database backups in accordance with disaster recovery plans and monitor production systems for security and performance Required qualifications University degree in computing or Oracle certification preferred At least 4 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration Proficient in Bash and SQL, with experience in Unix/Linux database installations Knowledge of multi-tenant architecture, data encryption, and performance tuning Experience with cloud Database as a Service, particularly PostgreSQL or Kafka, is considered an asset
