Oracle Database Administrator IIIAustin, TX (Remote work within Texas is allowed)6 month Contract with possibility to extensionThe Client requires the services of an experienced Oracle Database Administrator 3, who meets the general qualification of Database Administrator III/Database Administrator 3 and the specifications outlined below for the Infrastructure & Operations section of the Information Technology Services (ITS) Division of the Client.This role will provide technical support for daily operations within the Infrastructure and Operations Team responsible for administration, building and deployment of agency Microsoft Windows, Salesforce and java-based application server software and hardware systems.This role will provide support for all database activities within the software development lifecycle, develops scripts and stored procedures, designs and develops scripts for data exchange between Oracle and the Client’s Mainframe systems, creates and manages Client’s Oracle databases for development and testing, and promotes all application related database changes between the different environments.Candidate Skills and Qualifications:Years - Required/Preferred - Experience7 - Required - Database Administration experience on Oracle 12c/19c RDBMS5 - Required - Experience with RHEL Linux or Oracle Linux5 - Required - Experience with shell scripting bash/korn2 - Required - Experience with database SQL tuning2 - Required - Experience in managing multiple environments in support of Application Development and Testing2 - Required - Experience in designing and developing data migration scripts2 - Required - Experience with data modelingN/A - Required - Knowledge of Active Data Guard and GoldengateN/A - Required - Knowledge of DBaas, Iaas, Paas, SaaSN/A - Required - Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and Data warehousingN/A - Preferred - Oracle certification (OCA or better)5 - Preferred - Experience with ESRI GIS SDE administration2 - Preferred - Experience with Salesforce PlatformN/A - Preferred - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with major coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field10 + Years of Overall IT Experience.
