Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security Specialist with 8+ years of expertise in managing and securing cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of OCI security best practices, user and role management, and backup strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesUser and Role Management:Create, manage, and maintain OCI users, groups, and roles.Implement and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure secure resource access.Conduct periodic reviews of user access and privileges.Security Policies and Compliance:Define and implement OCI security policies to meet organizational and regulatory compliance.Monitor and audit security logs to identify and address vulnerabilities.Ensure data protection through encryption and secure connectivity protocols.Backup and Disaster Recovery:Manage pre and post-backup processes for critical user data and configurations.Design and maintain disaster recovery solutions for OCI resources.Test backup and recovery plans periodically to ensure reliability.Incident Management:Respond to security incidents promptly and mitigate potential risks.Collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective measures.Security Tools and Automation:Use Oracle security tools (e.g., Cloud Guard, Key Management) to enhance infrastructure security.Automate routine tasks such as user provisioning, role assignments, and backup scheduling.Collaboration and Documentation:Work closely with cross-functional teams to align OCI security with business objectives.Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of security processes and procedures.Required Skills and Experience:8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Expertise in managing users, roles, and security policies within OCI.Strong knowledge of OCI backup and recovery processes.Hands-on experience with OCI security tools and automation frameworks.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
