Job Title: Oracle Workforce Health and Safety Specialist (Contract)
Location: Houston, TX (with a 25% travel requirement)
Pay Rate: $80-$90 per hour (W2)
Duration: 9+ Months
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Workforce Health and Safety Specialist with 3-5 years of hands-on implementation experience to join a Big Four client’s team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HCM implementations for global clients and a passion for innovating and optimizing HR processes to support safe, healthy, and compliant workplaces across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR implementations, with a primary focus on Workforce Health and Safety (WHS) modules.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements, map business processes, and design solutions tailored to global organizations.
- Configure and customize Oracle HCM Core HR and WHS modules in accordance with best practices and client-specific needs.
- Provide expertise on health and safety incident management, risk assessments, safety programs, compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting.
- Support data migration, integrations, testing (unit, system, UAT), and deployment activities.
- Deliver user training, develop documentation, and guide change management for successful adoption of Oracle HCM solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve post-go-live issues, and provide ongoing functional support.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud enhancements, with emphasis on Core HR and Workforce Health and Safety functionality.
- Support presales and proposal efforts relating to Oracle HCM, as needed.
- Participate in 25% travel for client engagements, workshops, and project-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience implementing Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR and Workforce Health and Safety modules for global clients.
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and production support.
- Strong understanding of global HR business processes, compliance, and regulatory frameworks related to workforce health and safety.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, multicultural project teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications (Core HR, Workforce Health and Safety) are a strong plus.
