The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, and APEX application development, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deploy scalable applications using Oracle APEX.Develop interactive reports, forms, dashboards, charts, and UI components.Integrate APEX applications with external APIs and third-party systems.Optimize application performance, security, and user experience.Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.Design and maintain relational database structures (tables, views, indexes, constraints).Perform data modeling, data migration, and ETL processes.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs.Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Maintain documentation including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides.Implement APEX security features (authentication, authorization, session state protection).Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years hands-on experience with Oracle APEX (version 19.x or higher preferred).Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database concepts.Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for UI customizations.Familiarity with RESTful Web Services (Oracle ORDS).Understanding of APEX security, roles, and access control.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Preferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) or Autonomous Database.Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps pipelines.Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Exposure to BI tools or data visualization frameworks.Location: Orchard Lake MI (Hybrid)Kyyba is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
