Position Information
Operating room technicians (ORT) are licensed practical nurses with advanced skills who provide assistance to surgeons, nurses, and other medical personnel during surgery. Commonly called scrubs or surgical technologists, they handle responsibilities such as setting up surgical instruments, transporting patients, and assisting surgeons during procedures (passing instruments, holding retractors, cutting sutures, etc.).

Requirements
- Ability to scrub most specialties including Ortho, General, Uro, Podiatry, ENT
- CST Certification - Preferred
- BLS - Required
