Surgical Technologist / Central Sterile Technologist
We are seeking an OR Surgical Technologist to fulfill duties of OR Technologist and Central Sterile Technologist. The scrub tech must have a thorough understanding of each surgical procedure, scope procedure, and possess knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Must be familiar with cleaning, autoclaving, wrapping of packs, spore testing, and recall system. Must have clear understanding and practice of aseptic technique.
Education & Certification
- High School graduate or GED.
- Certification required from an accredited surgical technologist program.
- BLS required.
Experience
- 6 months to one year OR experience preferred but not required.
- Ortho experience preferred.

- Human relation skills needed for interaction with employees, patients, physicians, and public.
- Temperamental ability to be pleasant, cheerful, tactful, cooperative, responsible, compassionate, and courteous.
Work Schedule
This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, with on-call weekend coverage at least one weekend per month.
