The OR Tech I collaborates with the surgical team, working under a Registered Nurse's guidance to assist during surgeries and ensure patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures across service lines such as robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, handle surgical instruments, and support the surgeon and RN throughout the operation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and make calls as needed.
- Work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of scrub procedures.
- Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA Certification are required.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Details
- Shift: Day, with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage.
- Pay range: $31.41 - $38.42 per hour, based on experience and skills.
