Salary Range: $125,000 to $175,000 per year.
Summary
Reporting to the General Manager, Boviteq California seeks a motivated veterinarian to deliver advanced reproductive services to clients near Hilmar, CA. The role requires passion for advanced reproduction and works in a state‑of‑the‑art facility that supports up to 300 donors, lactating donor milking, hydraulic chutes, heated collection and oocyte searching areas, contemporary offices, and an on‑site IVF laboratory.
Essential Functions
- Perform ovum pick‑up (OPU) and dominant follicle removal (DFR) with donors, monitoring and adjusting stimulation protocols.
- Conduct embryo transfer (ET) and pregnancy diagnosis in recipients.
- Occasionally perform conventional embryo flush and embryo export.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform related duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Farm animals
- Veterinary medicine
- Embryo transfer
Ability to:
- Possess excellent teamwork and communication skills; fluent in English.
- Travel regularly within 200 miles of the OPU center, 3–6 times per year across the U.S.
- Display attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity.
Minimum job requirements and training guidelines:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and license in the state of application, with willingness to obtain California license if selected; prior USDA accreditation for export and AETA certification is a plus.
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in bovine reproductive physiology; willingness to train new graduates if a good fit.
- High degree of professionalism and desire to connect with clients to ensure best outcomes.

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
- Frequent lifting or moving over 50 pounds.
- Constant use of overall vision and hearing abilities.
- Frequent detail, reading and close‑up work.
- Must be willing to work weekdays, occasional weekends, overtime and holidays.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a field or production environment related to agriculture. The schedule is on‑site; indoor and outdoor temperatures vary, and working around slippery and uneven surfaces may occur.
