Salary : $110,000 - $135,000

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive vision and medical eye examinations within the bounds of individual licensure and Maryland's legal scope of practice.
  • Perform diabetic eye examinations; evaluate dry eye disease, cataracts, and glaucoma suspicion; conduct plaque screenings; and triage urgent eye or vision concerns.
  • Refer and consult on-site patients requiring surgical or advanced subspecialist care in glaucoma, retina, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, and low vision rehabilitation.
  • Prescribe glasses and soft contact lenses, with opportunity to build a specialty therapeutic contact lens practice; on‑site optical available with licensed opticians and high‑quality materials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience or successful completion of an accredited optometry residency program.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of optometry required.
  • License in good standing in State of Maryland required.
  • National Provider Identification (NPI) required.
