Optometrist (OD)
Location: Richardson, TX 75081
Status: Full-Time (1 Opening)
Setting: Independent Private Practice (Medical & Refractive Optometry | Ages 5+)
Caseload: 10 - 15 patients per day (Supported by Optos, OCT & trained techs)
Schedule: Weekdays 10 AM - 6 PM | Saturday coverage preferred (9/9:30 AM - 4 PM) | No call | Paid holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams, vision assessments, and refractive care.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and diseases (glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration).
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and therapeutic medications.
- Collaborate with trained technicians and refer to ophthalmology when necessary.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Optometry (OD) License (Required).
- Therapeutic / Glaucoma Specialist certification (Preferred).
- Open to both New Graduates and experienced Optometrists.
