Job Overview

Located in the heart of San Antonio, this is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial‑minded optometrist to step into a unique sublease role within a well‑established onsite clinic serving employees and their families. The position is targeted for a July start, with professionals available to begin on July 1, 2026, or later in July strongly preferred. This sublease opportunity offers a newly established clinic setting with a turnkey space already equipped for care delivery and access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Optos and pretesting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary eye exams and provide comprehensive vision care to employees and their families.
• Fit contact lenses and educate patients on eye‑health practices.
• Perform medical billing support and manage the full scope of optometric care within the sublease setting.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas optometric license.
• Motivated, patient‑focused with a strong understanding of ocular disease and clinical care.
• Comfortable practicing independently and managing a sublease practice.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Compensation is based on exams performed. The role includes a low monthly rent of $300 and a $300 Eyefinity EHR license fee. Rent is waived for the first six months.
