Position Summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part‑Time Optometrist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic‑based environment in Sacramento, CA. This is a clinic‑based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community‑focused setting serving senior populations.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic. We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing and logistics—allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high‑quality optometry care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient‑centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active California optometry license
• Experience treating senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Schedule

• 4–6 days per month
• 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
• Weekday availability
• No nights
• No weekends

Compensation

• $900 per day
• Independent Contractor (1099)
