- Diagnose and manage eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and treatment plans
- Conduct patient consultations and educate on eye health
- Document patient findings accurately using EMR
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality patient care
- Participate in shadowing and training sessions
- Valid licensure and board certification in optometry
- At least 2 years of professional experience in optometry preferred
- Strong communication skills, including Spanish-speaking ability highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Drive-in candidates preferred; local candidates or those willing to self-travel
This position is within a new clinic at a hospital setting, focused on delivering expert eye care to the community. The facility offers a supportive environment with trained staff and modern equipment, aiming to establish a trusted patient base. The provider will initially work on Wednesdays and Fridays, with potential for additional hours at other locations.
