Position Summary
A Fixed‑Term Optometric position is available in the Department of Ophthalmology. The applicant will practice the full scope of optometry under the direction of the Chair. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Graduated from an American School of Optometry
- Licensed to practice in North Carolina
- Proven clinical expertise
- Strong commitment to teaching and education
- Excellent patient‑care skills
- Excellent professional references
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to perform eye exams in school‑age children.
Location and Start Date
North Carolina, U.S. Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Proposed start date: August 3 , 2026.
