In this role, you’ll perform eye examinations, diagnose and manage vision problems and eye diseases, prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction solutions, and educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. You’ll also partner with the team to create a comfortable, positive patient experience and maintain accurate, timely records. The practice typically sees 45 to 55 ophthalmology patients and 20 to 25 optometry patients daily, offering a steady, engaging environment with a meaningful variety of patient needs.**Who you are:**You bring a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution, a current state optometry license or eligibility for licensure, and experience using electronic health records. Beyond your clinical qualifications, you are a thoughtful, caring clinician who values meaningful patient connections and takes pride in creating a calm, supportive experience from exam to follow-up.
