Description
Optometrist – Full-Time
We're seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our busy, fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a high patient volume while delivering excellent, individualized care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive routine eye exams
- Diagnose and co-manage glaucoma and diabetic eye disease
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photography, etc.)
- Prescribe corrective lenses and manage ocular disease treatment plans
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and clinic staff on surgical and specialty referrals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree, active state license
- Experience with glaucoma and diabetic eye care preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical setting
- Team-oriented with a patient-first mindset
