Optometrist – Full-TimeWe're seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our busy, fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a high patient volume while delivering excellent, individualized care.Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive routine eye examsDiagnose and co-manage glaucoma and diabetic eye diseaseOrder and interpret diagnostic testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photography, etc.)Prescribe corrective lenses and manage ocular disease treatment plansCollaborate with ophthalmologists and clinic staff on surgical and specialty referralsMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHRQualifications:Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree, active state licenseExperience with glaucoma and diabetic eye care preferredStrong communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical settingTeam-oriented with a patient-first mindsetRequired Minimum Education: Active OD licenseRequired Minimum Experience: 2 yearsProvider of quality patient eye care.Ability to work with geriatric patients.Analytical problem-solving skills.Strong organization with attention to detail.Empathetic personality with concern for patients’ needs.
