Optometrist

Village Eyecare is seeking a full-time Optometrist for our new office in Elmhurst, Illinois.

The ideal candidate enjoys practicing full-scope optometry using the latest in diagnostic equipment and clinical care (OCT, Retinal Photography, Corneal Topography, Scleral Mapping, Anterior Segment Photography). Responsibilities include examining eyes, disposable and specialty contact lens fittings, managing myopia control, diagnosing eye diseases and abnormalities, conducting and evaluating diagnostic testing, removing foreign bodies for the eye, writing prescriptions, counseling patients and other health professionals on eye health issues, and communicating with other doctors, staff, and patients.
