Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join a community hospital in Browning, Montana . This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential eye care services to a diverse patient population while working in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate visual acuity and eye health.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, injuries, and disorders.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active Montana Optometry License (or ability to obtain).
- BLS certification required.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
