Job Overview

MyEyeDr. is seeking a full‑time Optometrist (OD) to join our team.

Compensation & Benefits

Wage range: $130,000 to $160,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

Responsibilities

The Optometrist (OD) will work in a traditional, full‑scope office environment and may require local travel on a same‑day basis within MyEyeDr. regions.

Key duties:

• Practice general and medical optometry with a consistent patient base, maintaining a comfortable pace and high quality of patient care.
• Utilize vision care technology and provide a wide selection of quality eyewear to patients.
• Evaluate patients’ vision and health care needs using commonly accepted practices, tools, and techniques.
• Document findings in patient records.
• Consult with patients about their current status and future vision care requirements.
• Collaborate with the office team to deliver compassionate, personalized, and memorable care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be personable, patient‑focused, and passionate about neighborhood eye care.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• License in good standing to practice optometry in the state where employed
• National Provider Identification (NPI)
• TPA license
• Prior clinical optometry experience in a retail, educational, or medical office setting (preferred, all are welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and move about the office
