About the Role:

Dr. Jodi L. Rowson and Associates Inc. is looking for a motivated and caring Optometric Technician/Assistant to join their team in North Olmsted, OH! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside dedicated eye care professionals in a patient-focused practice where your skills truly make a difference every day.

Responsibilities:

Perform preliminary patient testing including visual acuity, tonometry, autorefraction, and visual fields.

Accurately document exam findings in EHR/EMR systems

Educate patients on contact lens care, insertion, and removal techniques

Maintain and sterilize diagnostic equipment and exam room supplies

Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage front desk duties as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience as an optometric technician, ophthalmic assistant, or in a clinical eye care setting is optimal but not required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment

Experience with EHR/EMR software is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent required
