Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist (MD/DO) to join their growing team in Vermont. The practice is high-volume, supported by a state-of-the-art procedure center and surgical staff, and provides a balanced call schedule.

Practice Info

• High-volume practice with another ophthalmologist, optometrist, and certified ophthalmic assistants
• Team-oriented group supported by a state-of-the-art procedure center and surgical staff
• Assigned OR blocks for efficient scheduling of cataract and other ophthalmologic surgeries
• Potential for future Medical Director role within the department
• Balanced call schedule (1:4) with minimal burden and strong hospital support

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of ophthalmologic conditions in a busy clinical and surgical practice
• Perform high-volume cataract surgery and other procedures in a modern OR suite
• Collaborate with certified ophthalmic assistants and optometry colleagues
• Help shape the future of ophthalmology care at a highly respected regional health system
