Newsom Eye is seeking a highly skilled Refractive Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. This role is ideal for a surgeon with strong experience in laser vision correction and refractive cataract surgery , who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a high-volume, technology-forward environment.
Surgeons with interest or expertise in advanced refractive technologies premium IOLs , and vision-correction innovation will thrive in our dynamic, multi-specialty ophthalmology group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care
- Perform cataract surgery and refractive procedures (LASIK/PRK/SMILE/ICL depending on training)
- Manage pre- and post-operative patients
- Collaborate closely with optometrists, technicians, and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of ophthalmology residency
- Board certified or board eligible
- Active Florida medical license
- Strong surgical and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care focus
