Practice Info

• Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base

• Offers access and privileges to an ambulatory surgery center

Responsibilities

• Practice features multiple Ophthalmologists and is fully supported with a team of clinical & non-clinical staff as well as Optometrists
• Practice comprehensive ophthalmology with fellowship trained physicians that specialize in small-incision cataract surgery, screening and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, floaters, central serous retinopathy, and inflammatory eye diseases
• Clinicians in this department will have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals

Compensation

• Guaranteed, competitive compensation model based on quality, not quantity, with significant earning potential, annual increases, and bonus eligibility
• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $285,000 - $592,500
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
• Board Certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
