Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a BC/BE Glaucoma Specialist to join an established Ophthalmology practice in Temple, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide glaucoma care to patients in the community.
- Work within a team of 13 Ophthalmologists (including 2 Vitreo‑Retinal Surgeons) and 6 Optometrists.
- Follow a busy Monday–Friday schedule with dedicated time for clinic and procedures.
- Participate in education for an established Ophthalmology Residency Program and medical students from Baylor College of Medicine.
- Serve 4 weeks of on‑call duty per year.
- Use the Epic EMR system with Kaleidoscope for Eyes and Zeiss Forum for image management.
- Hold employment as a full‑time physician with a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
- Board‑certified in ophthalmology (or demonstrate equivalent certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists).
