Ophthalmologist - Glaucoma

Marietta Eye Clinic, a premier ophthalmology practice in the Atlanta region, is seeking a Glaucoma Specialist to join its physician-led organization. Practice Info

• Highly regarded multispecialty ophthalmology practice
• Primary locations include Marietta, Cartersville, and West Cobb
• 100% outpatient practice
• Access to a large established referral network
• Dedicated physician support including a lead ophthalmic technician, scribe, and additional technical staff
• Access to two surgery centers with a combined seven operating rooms

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 35 patients per day
• Perform 10-20 surgical cases per week
• Perform 8-15 laser procedures weekly
• Participate in practice call approximately six one-week assignments per year

Compensation

• Competitive compensation with earning potential in the high percentiles
• Additional compensation for call coverage
• Relocation assistance available
• Additional compensation provided for practice call

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time
• Initial surgery and laser schedule every other week, with opportunity to expand as volume grows
• Practice call only, approximately six one-week assignments per year
• No hospital call requirements

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Completion of an accredited Glaucoma Fellowship required
• Excellent surgical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care
• Practice-building mindset with strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills
• 2027 fellows and experienced glaucoma specialists encouraged to apply
