Ophthalmologist

Marietta Eye Clinic, a highly respected and physician-led multispecialty eye practice in the Southeast, is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join their team in Northwest Atlanta. This full-time opportunity offers immediate patient volume, strong surgical opportunities, and excellent support staff within a collaborative culture. Practice Info

• Physician-led multispecialty eye practice with 41 providers, 14 clinic locations, and two surgery centers.
• 100% outpatient practice.
• Dedicated physician support including a lead ophthalmic technician, scribe, and additional technical staff.
• Access to two ambulatory surgery centers with a total of seven operating rooms.
• Collaborative physician-led culture with opportunities for engagement and influence.
• Established referral network and immediate patient demand.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care.
• Perform approximately 10-20 surgical cases per week.
• Perform 8-15 laser procedures weekly.
• Participate in practice call approximately six one-week assignments per year.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation with earning potential in the high percentiles.
• Additional compensation for call coverage.

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time employment.
• Approximately 35 patients per day.
• Initial surgical schedule of one surgery/laser day every other week, with opportunity to expand as volume grows.
• Expected surgical volume of 10-20 cases per week plus 8-15 laser procedures weekly.
• Practice call only, approximately six one-week assignments per year.
• No hospital call requirements.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with strong surgical skills and a patient-centered approach.
• 2027 graduating residents encouraged to apply; experienced physicians also welcome.
• Practice-building mindset with a desire to grow within a collaborative team environment.
