Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and punctual machine operator for the morning shift from 8 AM to 4 PM. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and over two years of experience in a manufacturing setting. You will be trained on the operation and safety procedures of custom-built press machines, with the goal of operating two machines simultaneously. This position requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand or sit for extended periods, and move throughout the facility as needed. Responsibilities
* Operate custom-built press machines following thorough training on safety and procedures.
* Perform inspections and machine set-ups as required.
* Assemble parts and ensure production efficiency.
* Maintain punctuality and reliability in attendance.
* Adhere to safety standards and participate in safety training.
Essential Skills
* Mechanical inclination and aptitude.
* 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Experience with hand tools and simple math.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with machine operations and set-ups.
* Ability to read blueprints.
* Familiarity with gages or measuring tools.
