What you will do:Perform all work in a safe and controlled manner, adhere to safety and environmental policiesWork safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following Nutrien, OSHA, MSHA, and MARSEC guidelinesUse proper personal protection equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, face shields, flash suits, and personal environmental monitorsWork as part of a team to complete assignments and minimize downtimeWork as a productive team member and support continuous improvementCross-train and work in all areas of the facility, as neededPerform work from elevated structures, ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and man-basketsFollow all safety rules and regulations as set forth by the companyWork a 12-hour rotating shiftWork with rail cars to load or unload productsWork will require you to be in/on, catwalks, confined space, and working at heightsWhat you will bring:High School diploma or equivalent preferredThe National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) testing is required for all hourly applicants of Nutrien. Applicants must complete this test and meet a minimum of 4 in Graphic Literacy, 5 on Applied Mathematics and 5 on Workplace Documents in order to be considered eligible for employment with NutrienThe National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) must be uploaded with your resume during your application to be considered eligible for employment with NutrienAbility to read and interpret technical documents, such as process flow diagrams and equipment manualsExcellent attention to detailStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to wear required, company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)--i.e., uniforms, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, emergency breathing apparatusWork environment will be indoors and outdoors (in all weather conditions)Ability to be clean-shaven for safety reasonsCompensation & Benefits: Starting rate $27.48 per hour (plus available overtime). The salary range for this role, in Aurora, NC is, between $27.48 - $43.14. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs.

Actual salary and benefits may differ. Nutrien offers a skills-based pay compensation program. Hourly rates can progress based on On-Job-Training, formal learning, and observation of new skills. Hourly rates can progress from starting rate of $27.48 to $43.14 per hour over a specified time period. We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week.
