Operations Support Technician (Part Time, Sat/Sun 3rd Shift)Ocala, Florida, United StatesThe RoleThis role is part time, 3rd shift hours on Saturday & Sunday.The Operations Support Technician provides hands-on operational and facility support across multiple areas of the site. This role is designed to be flexible and task-driven, supporting production, compliance, inventory accuracy, sanitation, and overall facility upkeep. Operations Support Technicians are expected to support both routine operations and special projects to ensure the facility remains compliant, organized, and production-ready.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Perform seed-to-sale labeling in compliance with regulatory and company requirementsSupport ad hoc labeling and rework activitiesAssist with machine trimming and bucking operationsSupport rework initiatives across departmentsPerform duties as assigned to support daily operationsAdditional duties as assignedInventory & Organization:Reconcile packaging component inventory and support inventory accuracyParticipate in 5S activities to maintain organized, efficient workspacesAdditional duties as assignedLaundry & Sanitation:Wash and maintain uniforms and work garmentsSupport sanitation activities during assigned shifts, including night sanitation coverageAdditional duties as assignedFacility & Grounds Maintenance:Perform general facility cleaning and sanitationConduct carpet cleaning as neededPerform basic painting and minor facility refresh workHang signage, equipment, and materials as directedPower wash building exterior and designated areasClean interior and exterior windowsPerform landscaping and lawn care activitiesClean and maintain facility vehiclesMove and stage pallets to designated outdoor locationsAdditional duties as assignedSafety & ComplianceBe aware of hazards in the workspace.Retain and understand department specific training.Report safety incidents/ concerns and comply with follow-up actions.Be compliant with area safety requirements, state regulations and PPE requirements.Follow GMP, biosecurity, sanitation or other quality and compliance requirements.Perform record keeping accurately and completely as directed by a lead or supervisor.Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment and machinery as directed by a lead or supervisor as well as use cleaning equipment, power washers, and basic toolsReport and escalate safety & quality concerns.Working ConditionsMust be comfortable working in a cannabis manufacturing and cultivation facilityWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focusMust be able to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motionsMust be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with productAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environmentWork involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil)Work involves daily exposure to machinery, production equipment, and chemicalsMust be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperaturesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, production environmentWillingness to perform a wide range of physical and operational tasksAdditional RequirementsMust pass any and all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust possess valid driver's licenseMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
