Operations Supervisor Opportunity | Tobaccoville, NC

We're looking for a hands-on leader with at least 3 years of supervisory experience who enjoys motivating a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring production and quality goals are met.

This is primarily a first-shift position with some flexibility needed to overlap with second and third shifts. The position also offers overtime at time and a half.

Important scheduling detail: Although this is a first-shift position, the supervisor needs flexibility to arrive earlier to communicate with third-shift employees and stay later to connect with second-shift employees. Additional hours and overtime are part of the opportunity.

What the supervisor will do

The Operations Supervisor will oversee daily operations at the ROC worksite, coordinate with BAT management to meet production and quality expectations, and serve as a primary point of contact for WFU employees.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and support the operations team.
• Oversee daily production and operational activities.
• Ensure employees follow established job procedures.
• Communicate with employees across shifts.
• Coordinate with management regarding production and quality needs.
• Conduct employee 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews, along with annual evaluations.
• Step into operational positions when needed.
• Work with computers, scanners, and digital inventory tracking systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory and operational records.
• Address problems quickly and maintain productivity.
